Backpack Spunk

Does your bag not define who you are? Well here is a quick and inexpensive way to add some spunk to that drab bag. I will be using a back pack, but the general idea of this project can be used for any type of bag.
Beginning:Now Take Sticky Felt and draw circles on the back and cut (fabric can also be used, but I prefer sticky felt because it will stick in place long enough to sew):
Pull of backing and stick to bag; I then sewed them to the bag. Not with a machine, but by hand, does not need anything fantastic; just enough to hold to bag.

Finished:
After finishing the bag I realized that it still needed a little spunk. So, I added some lace to the zippers.
This project is very versatile. Now that you have seen my example, let your creativity flow!
Hugs,
Cherise

  1. Very cute! I like it. Maybe once Sariah needs a back pack I will make one. If I didn't already have a ton of diaper bags this would be really cute for a diaper bag!
